Onam, is a festival of joy and prosperity for us, malayalees.. I'm really proud of being a Malayalee, a resident of Kerala , the God's own country! I'm wishing my readers, all over the world, a Happy and memorable Onam. On this special day, every malayalee waits for their ancient emperor "Maveli" to visit their homes and shower his blessings upon them. May the special moment be filled with happiness, peace and amazement to everyone. I wish every non-resident malayalee could join their family on this special occasion and have fun filled moments. Making Pookalams (floral carpet), preparing Onasadya (full meal with rice and special dishes), tasty Payasams, celebrations with family, all are the unforgettable memories of the day.
